Warning: loads and loads of pictures! I’m gonna post what i have been eating while in korea. Both what i eat at home when I cook which almost always involves eggs and when I eat out, which is usually during the weekends.

Toast with eggs and cheese and mushrooms. This was my dinner. Sad sad dinner. Haha

image

Tteobokki. It was free! I think it was from the Jaws Office downstairs.

image

Oh yummy pork belly! It was really cheap and good! Yum yum yum.

image

Ordered a side of beef as well

image

Simple lunch of fried rice.

image

Grilled squid we had at busan. There were 50 over stalls of pushcarts selling fresh seafood. So we decided on 11 the ajuma was so nice! She was very gentle and demure unlike all the other loud ones. Towards the end of our meal, she even fried us free eggs! She also. Did the same to the rest of the people dining at her stall. How nice! The locals sitting at our stall were really nice too. They offered us their seafood and soju. Haha. One of the nicest experience we had. I doubt this would ever happen in seoul. There are just too many tourists

image

The seafood on display! We could only try the ones that we were familiar with. Some looked realllllyyy weird.

image

We had Baskin Robbins. It’s pretty affordable here. We had vanilla with bubblegum, chocolate and cheesecake flavour. All tasted quite good.

image

THIS IS EEL. we were served it while the eel was still MOVING. hahaha. We were at jagalchi fish market and we’re starving. All the food was expensive. So we settled for this. The store only served live eel. They actually slaughter the eel right out of the tank when u order that’s why it is still moving they serve it. They then wrap it up in aluminium and then cook it over fire with sauce and loads of onions. Haha. Tasted similar to squid if u can get the image of wriggling squid. Out of your mind. Haha.

image

Had jolbak. Which is pig’s trotters. It wasn’t very nice cos I think we picked the wrong shop to eat from. But i didnt eat much cos it’s real fatty.

image

Busan Naengmyeon! This is famous according the owner of the guesthouse. That is shaved ice on top of the noodles. I had Naengmyeon once before and this is my second time truing. It does taste different. It’s pretty good tho and spicy (:

image

Just a snack of yogurt, a brownie, almonds and SUNFLOWER SEEDS. man those things are addictive. Haha. So i have stopped buying it. Haha.

image

Noodles. Boring

image

Fried rice. Boring.

image

Patbingsu. This is the famous one from Sinchon that everyone talks about. We had to queue for 20 mins. Haha. It was pretty good!

image

We went to a popular green tea house for green tea desserts! The cake and ice cream were good. The green tea drink wasn’t worth the money. Haha.

image

Jjajangmyeon! Not bad! Quite tasty!! But i think there is quite alot of pork lard innit. Haha. Tried for the sake of science! Lol. Would like to have it again.

image

Jjimdak! Huge portion of chicken and potatoes in a spicy black sauce. There is also a mountain of sweet potato noodles under there which we could never seem to finish despite constantly attacking it. Lol

image

Another Baskin Robbins trip with safer flavours of this time.
