Pictures (Hoi An, Vietnam)

Had some photos in my old phone that I just transferred to my laptop so I’m able to upload them.

These were taken during our family trip to Hoi An, Vietnam last November. We stayed at The Nam Hai.

The living room that is HUGE

The huge living room! They had lounging couches at all 4 corners of the room and a large dining table in the middle. I would have been happy just to sleep in the living room facing the ocean.

Bangkok/15 #NothingBahtTheTruth

Finally an update! and a travel one at that. haha! i love writing travel posts as it allows me to relieve the experiences through my subpar writing. haha. but still, hope this post will help any of you who may be traveling to the Land of Smiles soon

First group photo without S.

First group photo without S.

we arrived at 12:30am and took the USD$60 limo to the apartment because it fit all of us and our bags. it was a very comfortable ride!

Welcome drinks? haha. i didnt have any though. this had gold flakes innit.

IMG_5382

first bangkok meal the next morning. haha. had breakfast near the local street near our airbnb apartment. ordered in broken english.

$1 breakfast

So simple but so satisfying. This bowl of pork noodles really hit the spot. Eating along the roadside and sweating like mad with the hot weather? Check.

Random Basil Pork Rice

How many can you eat?

How many can you eat?

we had the famous boat noodles near Victory Monument Centre before heading to the Chatuchak weekend market. the noodles were really good. the girls had about 5 bowls each. while the boys had about 8 bowls each. Each bowl cost 12 Baht (S$0.48). There you can choose either pork, beef or some sour dry noodle. I enjoyed the pork and beef bowls. you can also choose whatever type of noodle you like. Tasted really good with the chilli powder. Gives it a good kick.

The broth is super flavourful. Wishing for some right now.

Chatuchak

Chatuchak

No other photo inside Chatuchak because it was so sweltering hot that one hand was used to fan myself. and the other holding the shopping we had. hahaha. coconut ice cream to beat the heat. but it was rather substandard. the one from the other stall near the clock tower is much better imo. but still, anything cold on a hot day is always appreciated.

after Chatuchak, we visted Rot Fai Night Market, which i will blog about in another post. That place was a real treasure.

IMG_5431

Day 2 at Platinum! In other words, shopping heaven.

3 girls worth of shopping in about 4 hours. haha.

IMG_5434

lots of goodies inside 😀

IMG_5435

Snapchatting outside the toilet. haha.

we then headed for a much needed massage after combing the 5 floors of platinum mall at the usual place opposite Pantip Plaza. i dont normally spend on massage in Singapore because i cant justify the price. but here, i always get massages. $10 for 1hr of pure relaxation. haha.

after that we proceeded to Siam area for dinner at Som Boon Seafood. We went to the very new Siam Square One, where many of the cafes and japanese restaurants are. the mall is HUGE.

IMG_5437

The Hello Kitty Cafe is here too.

Curry Crab @ Som Boon Seafood

Curry Crab @ Som Boon Seafood

The Famous Curry Crab at Som Boon Seafood. they have about 7 outlets but this one is quite convenient as the mall is linked directed from Siam BTS station. the restaurant is also very fancy for Bangkok standards. we ordered a bunch of dishes and they were all good. i especially like the prawn/crayfish vermicelli (tang hoon) it was very flavourful and peppery.

the curry crab was something different. the gravy goes excellent with white rice. i expected abit more flavour though. we also ordered the oyster omelette which was packed full of flavour and they were very generous with the oysters too.

It costed us about S$15/pax for 7 people. Very value for money. We ordered two Medium servings of Curry crab and a whole lot of dishes.

IMG_5441

We went to a cafe at the same mall. Will blog about all the cafes we visited in a separate post.

Took the BTS/BRT home.

Bali day 3,4 & 5 #3BabesinBali

hi there.

even though i wnna work on my Barcelona post, i thought it would be better for me to follow through with my Bali posts first so that i will not have a backlog.

so anyway, a continuation of my travels to Bali for my grad trip with my two other friends,IMG_0084_3

we requested for breakfast to be served on our balcony. it was a rather simple breakfast. but it was good enough. haha. the view and the ambience was really relaxed (: oh btw in Ubud, we were staying at Onje Villa.
IMG_0094_2

we then packed up and headed for Dirty Duck. a speciality in Ubud. as u can see, we dressed up too (: hehe.IMG_0097_2

the restaurant was really nice too. had many seating/pavilions for guests.IMG_0100_2

food is served! we ordered the Duck pictured on the top. really delicious. the sambal served with it was PERFECT. super fragrant and delicious. the food here cost abit more than usual because it’s touristy but in comparison to the prices of food in singapore it’s very much reasonable considering we are eating in a restaurant. IMG_0120_3

our private pool in our two storey villa. very fancy. the place we stayed at is called Kampoeng Villa. it’s not the most convenient though. but away from the touristy areas which is good if u dont like nightlife.
IMG_0123_3the girls swimming away. haha. pretending to be sharks. muahaha.IMG_0129_2 our seafood beach dinner on our last day. IMG_0128_3IMG_0137_2

cant seem to upload the rest of the photos.. so it’ll do for now (:

Bali day 1&2 – #3BabesinBali

finally an update with real pictures. hahaha. been so long since i had any pictorial updates. so i thought why not blog about my Bali trip? hehe. blogging on my new macbook pro. it’s awesome. haha. though the keyboard protector is irritating me. haha. i just removed it and typing is so much better. anyway, back to the grad trip. haha. yes. my 2 friends and i planned a short grad trip to Bali for 5 days. initially we were planning to go further. like japan for a longer period of time. but due to financial limitations and us wanting to be good girls and save money and not spend a few thousands on grad trip, we decided to go budget! haha. in total we spent

flight + accommodation = $380

other expenses (food/massage/tours/activities) = $350

for 5 days and 4 nights in total.

Image

bright-eyed and ready for our flight! haha. i didnt have a good night the night before and was suffering from nausea. boohoo. but it was alright after i reached Bali. we flew Mandela Tiger airlines.

we arrived at the airport and their airport is surprisingly rather new and clean! i believe it’s relatively new.

we then took a cab to Ubud, where our accommodation for the first 3 days would be at. we paid quite abit for our cab fare since we were not very familiar with the prices and the cab company insisted on a certain price -.- i think next time we shld really just get a driver like my dad suggested. it’s fuss free and no hassle involved.

Image

but anyway, we reached our villa safely and to me, that is always the most important. safety is always first! furthermore, we were a bunch of girls travelling without any guys. and we shld always be aware of our surroundings. the villa was very new and clean. always a good point. though it’s a little far from central ubud, it was very quiet and peaceful. no noisy traffic. just the sound of nature. haha. dogs barking, chicken cock-a-dooing (?) lol.

we stayed at Onje Villa. the staff were very helpful and sincere. since there arent many guests at the villa, we felt really at home. the counter staff and driver were all very friendly. which gave me a really good impression of Bali. good service is always a good indicator of how good a hotel is.

Image

our comfy bed. haha. 3 girls shared one bed.cos we were kinda budget and we didnt request for an extra bed. and the staff were quite nice. they didnt insist that we get another bed unlike what i think most other hotels would. haha. so i slept in the middle for two nights. to be honest there was more than enough space for us. hahaha. #budgetforlife

Image

my travel buddies. hehe. at our very nice and chill balcony.

Image

Image

that evening, we took the transport provided by the hotel to Ubud central to eat Suckling pig. hehe it was really yummy. also cause we were famished. lol. and we took a short walk around the area to find vendors for our trekking trip the following day. we managed to find a vendor that charged us 800,000 (approx $88) for 3 pax to hike up mt. batur the following day. it was a good price compared to the USD 60/pax that the hotel charged.but i think with any tourist areas, the price u pay is what u get. we got a group hike. whereas i think i if you pay for the higher price, i will have a personal guide to your group of 3. but we were totally ok with our group hike. which i will elaborate below (:

so we woke up at 2am that same night and waited for our transport to pick us up to make our way to mt. batur, an active volcano. our hotel very kindly prepared sandwiches with milk and juice for us to take with us since we were not able to have our breakfast. and the hotel staff who was at the counter at 2am was chatting with us as we waited for our transport (:

we were driven for around 30 mins to a place to have our pre-breakfast. which were banana and chocolate crepes. haha. not too bad. we were also joined by a Belgium couple who were travelling for 9 MONTHS. YES. 9 MONTHS. wah. i also want the luxury to travel for 9 months man. they went to new zealand, thailand, malaysia and bali. maybe more countries. i didnt ask. but they spent like 40 plus days in bali. haha. so cool. was quite inspired by them.

Image

at the foot of mt. batur, ready for our climb. it was pretty cool in the wee hours of the morning. there were other groups of people waiting to climb up too. haha. there’s me looking rather dorky with my green sling bag. that is SUPER STURDY. haha and also theft proof. haha. there are wires in the bag that prevent people from cutting your bag. hahaha. anyway , very aunty of me. but my dad bought it from US. so i decided to use it for a peace of mind.

time: 4am.

so we climbed and we climbed. 40 mins or so in, we were getting tired. haha. but there was no giving up. note that we were climbing on in pitch darkness. all that was given to us  were some torchlights. not even the LED kind. haha. just the regular lamp kinds. haha. remember what i said earlier about u pay for what you get? haha. anyway, that didnt matter, we wanted to get to the top! haha. some parts were pretty tough. like u had to support yourself to climb.. we are short asian girls. climbing with a bunch of tall legged ang mohs. haha. thankfully for the guides, they helped us up along the way. some parts dont have proper paths and the paths can be rather bumpy. i then realised that my nice new nike shoes werent going to cut it for the rest of the climb. and i was right. i was wishing i had brought my timberland boots instead. but anyway, climb climb climb.

we finally reached what we thought was the ‘peak’ where there were many many groups of people. haha. it started to get a little brighter. then our guide told us to pick up our stuff to get to the peak. haha. so we continued to climb for another 30 mins. haha. some parts were like climbing up a steep sandy hill?! haha. it was all volcanic sand though. but we could barely get a grip and gotta really stick our feet into the sand to make progress. haha. it was tough. and we were tired. by then we had already been climbing for 2 hours. note again that we were noob city girls who barely have any experience climbing mountains. haha. we take mrt and bus yo. loll.

but then we reached the top.

Image

misty morning. haha. u can see there are quite a few groups of people at the peak too (: we were happy to reach the top. haha.

Image

Image

managed to capture this amazing sight when the run rose. it was just amazing. of course i couldnt help but sing of God’s amazing creation. something you cant see in singapore for sure. we were 1717m above sea level and amongst the clouds. it was beautiful. we also ate the food that was given to us. ie. one hard boiled egg, banana, bread with jam. haha.

after giving us sufficient time to enjoy the view, we made our way down. we went down the other side of the volcano and we basically had to walk around the crater of the volcano. the paths were really narrow at some parts. one wrong move and it may send u rolling down the hill. haha. not gnna lie it was a bit scary. haha.i went ahead of the girls cos it was a single file. it was so beautiful up there too. but i was more focused on not falling so i just took in everything with my eyes. Image

happy me with the volcano in the background. and the aforementioned poor choice of shoes. lol. but i must say, the blogilates cropped pants served me pretty well. i did get a few scratches on my lower calves from the sharp rocks though. but it kept me warm enough throughout the hike

Image

the girls stopped for a couple of pictures. haha. so nice.

Image

emo picture of me. haha i shall use it to put in a quote and post on instagram one of these days. hahha.

anyway the climb down was just as hard as the climb up. we were all tired by then. and honestly,i was not experienced enough when it comes to climbing. lol. i literally had to butt slide down the sandy hills. walking wouldnt have cut it. cos i would have just slid down. it was very tiring and scary. thankfully i did some leg exercises the week before and could still withstand the sore legs.

after the sandy slopes were over, i had to deal with super rocky paths. seriously. if i had fell and hit my head on the sharp rocks, that would be just terrible. i tripped many times. haha. and also risked twisting my ankle on those unstable rocks. thank God for keeping me safe from any harm man. also to the female guide who held my hand at many parts. after chatting with her for awhile, i realised she is only 20? i asked her about school (stupidly). and i learned then that this was her job. she is also married and has a child. what school?  ive been so accustomed to the fact that school at the age of 20 is the norm. but not for some of these Balinese locals. it’s sad though. i also learned later that for the entire climb 4am-10am they were only paid about $6. what? like seriously? so so sad. we did tip them all tough. about $5 a person. hope that helps them.

Image

almost at the bottom of the volcano. can u believe we were wayyyyyy up there where the clouds are covering? haha. yea. neither can i.

after the climb, we were brought to some coffee place to buy luwak coffee. haha. i guess that was part of the package. and like the drivers bring u there to get commission. we went back to to the hotel to wash up and then headed out for a late lunch. we couldnt decide where to go for lunch. and the driver from the hotel very kindly brought us to Ibu Rai for lunch. it was the BOMB! so so good. i tried nasi goreng and it was awesome. hahaa. yes. we have nasi goreng at home too. but i really like it la. hahaha.lool.

Image

Image

very thick and tasty smoothies. haha. though they dont really add that much ice. but it’s super gao like the mango one i had. super yummy.and super worth it. like $3-4 a cup. where to get in singapore. u prolly gotta pay like $8? hahaha.

Image

super delicious nasi goreng. making my mouth water. haha the satay was also really good, chunky pieces of meat.

we paid around $10 per person for a dish and and a smoothie each? really enjoyed the lunch. great recommendation by the hotel’s driver.

we then adjourned for our 3.5 hour SPA. hahhaa. yea. we booked a SPA session after our mountain climb. smart right?!?!?! yes. i know. haha.

no pictures at the Spa though. it was a very simple Balinese style SPA package. which included Balinese massage, scrub, facial, hair wash and massage. i seldom go for massages, much less Spas. but it was quite relaxing. it was much much needed. we paid around $40 for the 3.5 hours. service was good too (:

we found the Spa through trip advisor. Putri Spa.

after Spa, we went to do what Singaporeans do best. to EAT. haha. we were back in central ubud. where we had a nice chilled long dinner.it was very relaxing where we could just sit back and enjoy each other’s company.. i am not one to eat slowly. i always finish my meal in 20 mins or less. but we took our time to eat and bask in the cool night (:

Image

Cindy with her foood

Image

i tried the Grilled Ribs. not too bad. (:

Image

ang mohs everywhere in Bali. haha.

Image

we then adjourned to our villa and chilled the night away. hope u guys enjoyed my post. haha. spent a long time writing this up. haha. day 3 and 4 coming up ! haha.

Glow-in-the-dark bowling

for my last few days in Seoul, a bunch of my friends and i decided to head to this cool bowling alley we heard about that is located at Hongdae. what’s cool about this bowling alley is that it has neon lights! haha. so everything kinda glows in the dark. a pretty cool bowling experience. there is also loud music playing that adds to the atmosphere (: haha. we had an enjoyable time playing even though i really suck at bowling. lol. a good change in activity from just shopping and eating. haha.

Image

check out the cool bowling alley!

we headed to this shop near home for ujau. it is actually yuzu fruit concentrate with soju i think. haha. it tastes pretty mild. unless you wnna add another bottle of soju to get that kick (: it comes in a jug and you drink it in shots. haha. very sweet and refreshing. haha. i do miss it quite abit.

Image

cheers!

Image

we order a seafood pancake. pretty yummy. has kimchi and seafood inside. i want to try and make it someday. haha.

BUSAN BEACHES!

i’m finally back with another travel post from korea.i dont think there’s gonna be more of these because to be honest, i didnt take that many photos with my camera. maybe one or two more random korea posts (:

anyway, on one of the weekends, my friend, joanna and i decided to go to BUSAN! we took a bus there. it took about 4 hours. we didnt want to buy the KTX ticket because it’s more expensive. but if you want to save time, go ahead and take the KTX. it takes about 2 hours plus to get there from Seoul. when we reached Busan, we headed to our hostel. haha. it wasnt the best to be honest. lol. but we headed to the all famous Haeundae beach! it’s super packed. very popular with young people.

this post focuses on the beaches in Busan. mainly the Haeundae beach and Gwangali beach. there is a third one. i cant remember the name.

Image

something that Busan has that Seoul doesnt. BEACHES! you see those umbrellas? there are plenty of them around. we were almost conned into paying for the usage of the umbrellas. haha. they only provide u with a mat. and since we brought our own, we just sneaked under the umbrella for some shade. i took a long nap there. hahaha. so nice to sleep on the beach with the cool sea breeze. i remember doing that at santa monica beach. it was awesome.

another thing to note is that they sell fried chicken at the beach! haha. along with the popular food delivery service in parks (hangang) they also have the same thing at the beach. you can see vendors holding bags of fried chicken and selling them to you. haha. very convenient if you’re hungry after playing in the sea. which we didnt plan to. cos the water is cold and it was really crowded. haha. and it beach isnt the cleanest ><

Image

Image

Image

Image

Image

we then headed to Gwangali beach in the evening. it was just a really chill time watching the sunset and i remember we had a very meaningful and long conversation by the beach. the beach is a lot less crowded that haeundae. there are no beach umbrellas for rent. haha. more for couples just walking along the beach. this beach is special because there is a bridge right in the middle of it! it joins two ends of Busan. at night, the bridge lights up and it’s beautiful. and romantic too (:Image

Image

Image

Image

Image

Image

Image

we literally strolled till the sun set and then walked along the boardwalk area to look for a place for dinner. we settled down at a burger bar place. haha. Image

Image

western food! haha

Image

here are more pictures of Haeundae beach. look at the rows of umbrellas! and the floats that u can rent. haha. the Busan aquarium is also located beside the beach. we didnt pay that a visit though.

Image

Image

Image

Image

Image

Image

Image

Imagejust felt like spamming pictures of us. haha. like i said, i didnt really take that many pictures because i was in a chill mode. sometimes. it’s better to take less pictures and just appreciate the scenery around you.

the next day we went for some sightseeing with two other guys and spent the night at a jimjillbang. haha. that was an interesting experience. will blog about that another time (:

Orlando, Florida! (lots of photos!)

hello there! decided to blog about Orlando. it’s gnna be a bit messy because the pictures are not in order. but whatevs. looking through these pictures really make me happy. haha. had so much fun in Orlando. we flew to Orlando from Washington DC i think. haha. yea. we stayed there for 8 days i believe.

2 days in Universal Orlando which has 2 theme parks: Universal Studios Florida (marvel etc) and Universal Islands of Adventure (harry potter world!).

5 days in Walt Disney World Resort which has 4 THEME PARKS. yes. 4. haha. it includes animal kingdom, epcot, magic kingdom and hollywood studios. we spent a day in each theme park and the 5th day we went back to magic kingdom because it is just huge. i have to add that Walt Disney World Resort is massive. they even have downtown disney which is like an entire downtown area with restaurants and shops. they sure know how to suck ALL YOUR MONEY!

1 day at Wet and Wild water theme park.

so in total, in orlando, we went to a total of 7 theme parks. WOW. hahaha. i was kinda sick of theme parks after that. but the theme park madness continued in LA. haha.

these were from magic kingdom i believe. we did some race care thingie. lol. joy was a crazy driver.

ImageImage

can anyone guess which ride/attraction this is? haha.it’s from Monster’s Inc. i am a HUGE fan of monster’s inc. i cant wait for the movie in june. i have been waiting for YEARS for it. lol. so anyway, this is the laugh facility where they collect children’s laughter for energy. it’s actually a standup comedy attraction ‘hosted’ by Mike, the monster with one eye. hehehe.

Image

just look at the crowds! this was for It’s a Small World. basically it’s the same pretty much in all the other disneylands. i think i first sat on one at Toyko Disneyland. it’s the same thing.

Image

Magic Kingdom castle at night! it changes color and at 2 intervals, they have some very nice light display show in the castle. very pretty.

Image

hahaha. skip to Wet’ n Wild day! lol. doenst the name sound familiar? haha. sounds like Wild Wild Wet right? haha. we went to the water theme park that was walking distance from our hotel. it was AWESOME. the rides were crazy fun. i had the best time there! the rides were really quite scary. but all the young children there didnt seem to be scared or anything. haha. FUN FUN FUN.

ImageImage

this was when we went shopping at the outlets in orlando. orlando has 2 shopping outlet malls. they are quite easy to go to even if you dont drive. there are shuttle buses to bring you there. not much photos but this was when the shopping craze begun. lol.

Image

you cant really see our faces but you can see our shopping bags 😡 hahaha. we went quite crazy.

Image

joy with her shopping. haha.

Image

this was the hotel we stayed at in Disneyworld resort. which was the last 6 days we were in Orlando. there are tonnes of hotels if u stay at disneyworld. we stayed at the cheapest. it’s more family oriented etc. the hotels provide shuttle services to all the theme parks. because the place is SO HUGE u need a 30 min ride to go to the theme park frm ur hotel.

Image

Animal Kingdom! honestly, i feel this theme park is just alright. if u really love animals u will like it. if not, it is worth a miss perhaps? haha. but the thing is, we bought a 5 day pass which allows us unlimited access to all the 4 theme parks. and the price difference from a 3 day or 4 day pass isnt much. like around $20? so yea. besides, it’s out first time there so why not? haha.

ImageImageImage

somemore pictures of the hotel we stayed at. looks pretty nice huh. haha. we stayed at the All Stars Music Resort. which explains the huge shakes in the photos. haha

Image

the crowds to go to The Magic Kindgom

ImageImageImage

us girls on the last night ):

Image

this was Epcot. haha. to be honest, i didnt have much fun at this place. it’s kinda like a sciencyyy place? it also looks pretty old. and it rained like mad in the afternoon. so that kinda dampened our spirits and we left halfway back to our hotel.

Image

i look absolutely fat in this photo. oh my goodness. HAHAHA. and see if you can spot the banana in my hand. i practically had 1 everyday while travelling. haha. it’s a cheap snack!

Image

we were at this place where we could sample the unique fizzy drinks from all around the world.  it was quite an interesting experience. the Mozambique/Italy one was nasty. the Israel one was good cos there’s lemon.

Image

dinner! this was so awesome. roast beef with mac and cheese. so yummers.

Image

we were at Hollywood Studios where we were a part of a flash mob. HAHAHA. they taught us the dance etc.

ImageImageImage

oh look! it’s Winnie the Pooh (:

ImageImage

you cant really see clearly but this is the American Idol theatre. every day, park goers can get a chance to go through the American Idol experience. they get to go for real auditions and sing on stage! it’s really quite cool. but i think u have to go in the morning to queue. and you will get eliminated etc. this was the finals hahaha. so we were watching it outside the theatre. there are even real judges! not the original ones, but some professional singers etc. haha. it was cool.

Image

our hotel we stayed at during the first 4 days. it was a pretty good hotel. even had a microwave. i suppose in orlando, many who head there are on vacation etc. and most of them are families. so the place is generally quite family friendly.

Image

okay. now backtrack to universal studios orlando. lol. this was the hulk ride that we took first thing in the morning. it really shook us up. HHHAHAHA. it was crazy, i suppose it’s similar to the battle star galactica in USS?

ImageImage

one this Universal Studios theme parks or theme parks in general are famous for are their turkey legs? i think singapore has them. but i dont remember them being as big as these!!!! it was massive. and yummy. and also salty. haha. we 3 girls share 1 turkey leg and were pretty full after eating that. the next time we were smart. we brought bread! so we made sandwiches with the turkey meat. haha. smart right

Image

the much anticipated Wizarding World of Harry Potter! it was super crowded as you will be able to see in the pictures below. i suppose because it’s summer so everyone is on vacation!

Image

so sunny but there is snow?! haha

Image

the super awesome Harry Potter ride! i think we queued for more than an hour for this. but it was SO AWESOME. u have to go and sit the ride for yourself! as u can see, i was constantly being photobombed by everyone cos it was so crowded.

Image

butter beer?!?!?!? totally awesome also. vanilla foam on top of Root Beer (?) so refreshing in the hot weather. they have it in the iced and frozen options.

Image

second day at Universal Orlando Resort! both Universal Studios Florida and Islands of Adventure are at the same place and the theme parks are side by side. again, the grounds are quite large but they have everything from restaurants to shops. there is also a huge hard rock cafe at the place.

Image

we headed to Universal Studios Florida on the second day.

Image

we were lucky enough to go on the Despicable Me ride. it was in the trial stages and had to fully launch. but it was so awesome! the minions were cute! haha. it’s a 4D ride.

ImageImage

oh look!it’s Gru’s house! haha. the staff operating the ride were dressed up as professor nefario. haha. cute.

Image

a pineapple??!??! it’s spongebob’s house!!!! HAHAHA. so cute please.

Image

of course Gary had to be innit. hehehe.

ImageImage

the Simpsons ride! it’s a carnival themed ride. they have it in Florida and also Universal Studios Hollywood. it’s the same thing. haha.

Image

i should have bought those slippers! haha

before i end my post, i thought i would share some tips when u’re going to these themeparks

  1. dress smart. as you can see, i basically wore shorts and t-shirts at all the theme parks because it is HOT. and also because we sat on quite a few wet rides. and you need clothes that can dry fast. you wouldnt want to wear jeans only to get it soaked and spend the rest of the day squishing in them.
  2. bring water. i brought a bottle with me everywhere i went. because bottled water is expensive in themeparks all over the world.
  3. bring your own food/snacks (like bananas) haha. to save money!
  4. sunblock/sunglasses
  5. a small bag to keep your valuables.
  6. get the FASTPASS when you are the Universal Studios(both theme parks) it’s costly and you end up paying twice the price of the tickets also because we were there in summer and it’s peak period. but it’s totally worth it. because you only spend one day in each theme park, you want to see as much as possible and go on as many rides. and the fastpass allows you to skip the long queues. although it doesnt give u access to the super popular rides like the Harry Potter ride but apart from that, you can go for all the other rides/rollercoasters. we were so glad that we got the fastpass because it was so crowded when we were there
  7. in Disneyworld, you have the Fastpass. which allows the system to ‘queue’ for your while to go eat/go on other rides. and u just come back during the specified time. so it’s like virtual queuing. which is awesome. but u can only collect a fast pass one every hour or hour and a half i think.

that’s the end of my Orlando post. hope u guys found it interesting! haha. so fun to recall the memories. lol. i really enjoyed Orlando a lot! and i would recommend EVERYONE TO GO THERE! haha. even if you’re an adult. i think your would enjoy it more as an adult because you can appreciate everything? if you go as a child you might forget everything. haha. just go!
